Radio controlled model 7
Does anybody make one? Just thinking, I've got an old Tamiya Astute in the loft with bust suspension hubs and I can't get spares for it
anymore. There are lots of canibalisable parts on it which could be turned into a seven, but why bother my arse when someone might already make
one?
Anyone know?

I've never seen one in the years I've been into rc models. But that doent mean they dont exist. Do a google search and see what crops
up...
Would make a good rc car imo . And how about this little engine to go in it? (And yes that is a fully functional V8 4 stroke engine with
supercharger....)
Cheers,
David

I was going to make a scale model of the locost using the plans in the book for a guide. Never got round to it though.
If you think that engine is good have you ever seen that scale Ferrari racing car? Everything works..and i mean everything plus it was almost to
perfect scale including the flat 12 engine. Awesome!!

Never seen a 7 as a remote control car.
Probably because the designers would argue over wishbone thickness or whether car should be wider or longer or taller. What engine went with what
gearbox. Whether the chassis was stiff enough. Whose fibreglass to use. etc. etc.
I'll get me coat !

A few years ago there was an engineer down London way who made a FULLY functional (I think either 1/8 or 1/6 ) scale model of a Rolls Royce Merlin,
complete with 2 stage super charger, magnetos, starter and 3 blade variable pitch propellor. You should have heard it when he started it up on its
display stand.

More disturbing than yours Joel?!!!!
I would love to hear/see that little scale V8 engine running. Any chance there are more pictures/videos of it? It is cooooool!
And Bowser, Why bother? Because you can! You should build one. I for one would love to see a scratch-built 7 rc car.
