Alvin Stardust....................
This is the trouble with being a certain age, all your heroes and contemporaries are dropping like flies.
My Cooca Choo, Red Dress, Pretend, Feel Like Buddy Holly, fun music........and hey you could hum the tune!
Hope he has gone to a better place, wouldn't be difficult the state this world is in!
Condolences to family and friends.

He always seemed like a nice guy who genuine loved his music.
Silly fool though letting Lisa Goddard slip through his fingers ----

I think my first record came from Boots in Barnsley!

Gimme a break lads those of you worried about your own mortality when the first record you bought was Alvin Stardust.
The first record I bought was Telstar by the Tornados, so imagine how I feel.
Cheers,
Bob
