Trailer size
I am looking to make a trailer or buy one if cheap enough, can anyone advise me the width and length required between the wheels please, Im thinking a
minimum of 66 inches for the bed and 13 foot bed length is this about right

I brought a caravan bed from ebay for 50quid, extremely cheap.
This dictated the width between my wheels. My front wheels go through but my rear wheels wont!!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Draw a box around your car for the bed then build up.
Mine
Trailer tilted
It came in at around £850 built using all new stuff, they are proper 10" trailer wheels that sit under the bed so keeps the footprint as small
as possible, also as a flat bed useful for carrying other stuff.
The frame is made from pressed U section.

the chasis I have come across are around 63" wide would it be okay to cot the beam and extend the width of the ale and chasis I reckon I need a
minimum of 68" otherwise it will mean haveing the bes higher than the top of the wheels
