Hotel / B&B In Buxton??
Hi All
A mate and I are off to Derbyshire on our bikes tomorrow - we're looking to stay in Buxton tomorrow (Friday) night - anybody on here able to
recommend a decent hotel / B&B where we can have a meal, pint and stay and that's biker friendly? I've seen a few on Laterooms but
that can be a bit of a lottery!

I always look on farmstay for B+B's. I've found some really good ones on there.
Sorry but it's too close to home to have any recommendations.

You have picked the wrong weekend for B&B I think. The MCC's Edinburgh Trial is on this weekend, starting Friday night from Tamworth and
finishing just down the road from Buxton on Saturday afternoon. Although there is no club meal in Buxton this year there may well be many competitors
staying in Buxton on the Saturday night. Plenty of cars and bikes to see on the hills though. Go to the MCC's web site for details. (Thats not
the Middlesex Cricket Club by the way!!!)

hi
hi
i've been told the old hall is nice but can be expensive, what are you looking for price wise????? for a cheap pint there is a weatherspoons,
pub just round the corner called the railway which does 2 main meal for just under a tenner. and a pub called the club house which is good food and
drink and is priced right.

Thanks guys - only staying one night so no worries about Saturday! Not sure of my mate's budget and I just put two new tyres on the bike which
cost a lot but it feels so smooth now!

Nice run - coffee in the Cat & Fiddle this morning. Didn't want to end the road trip like this though :-(
