I don't believe it.
Stirling Moss!!!! My hero, I've still got a tin of polish with his picture on.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Where's Gilles Villeneuve, Ronnie Peterson, Emerson Fittipaldi, Mike Hawthorn, Hunt the shunt, Graham Hill ?
Annnnndddd
Keke Rosberg FFS !!??
I voted Tommi out of protest - seeing as he was the only non GP driver and he is scandinavian just like Keke.
Anndd - just noted - no Niki Lauda either !?
I'm just being grumpy - late nights do that to me

Greatest Driver!!
Before JM Fangio there was -
Tazio Nuvolari !!! Having seen some of the machinery he drove, am convinced he was the greatest, beyond doubt.
Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Edit: Sorry looks like the forum has been messing up the avatar. Dicks avatar was a full size picture that took up the whole screen a minute ago! Now

I voted for Jim Clark - from what I have seen he was an imensely talented natural driver who could win in any type of car - wish that still happened
so we could see how good the current drivers really are.

Stirling is my Hero as well!
He was a good all round champ driver as well as just GP!
Made the Mini famous world wide!
Terry
ps he also drove one of the cars in my avatar, but a real one!

Surtees would get my vote too, world champ on 2 wheels and 4...
They say never to be repeated, but it seems young Rossi is quite quick in a car!
anyway I have to vote Mansell cos that was the last time I watched F1 when he and Senna were battling it out. Also he moved to Indycar and won in his
first season.
