Plumbing problem (house radiator)
Having just finished decorating the bedroon amd a new carpet on Tuesday, was going to re-connect rthe radiator, only to find i've lost the bleed
valve screw.
Problem is, this is a bit different from anything I can find on the net at least.
It seems that this round top rad has no removable bleed valve body and the thread on the screw is slightly diffent from the standard one I bought at
B+Q .
having miced it up its about .1mm smaller diameter, a bit longer and a bit finer thread
So the questions is?
Do I stand any chance of getting one at a plumbers merchant?
And/or has anybody got one?
I've added a couple of not great pics, the one with paint on is the one I need, I borrowed it from another rad for the pic
Thanks as ever

The only air vents BES sell are 1/8". Not sure if that helps. Try finding out what thread the one you want has got and voila.

You will probably have to buy a whole radiator air bleed valve and just use the screw from it. The valves are removed with a square tool like the end
of a 3/8" ratchet or some use allen keys. Air bleed valve is
only a few squids.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

No This definatly does not come out as a unit.
One of the more helpful plubists suggested it was a Barlow (now quinn barlow?) radiator.
So I'll see if I can contact them
