Heinz sandwich spread
I love this stuff in a white sliced bread sandwich.
Description
My good lady dislikes it as much as she dislikes Marmite
(I love the Marmite thing too)
What does everyone on here think?
Cheers
Mark

Reminds me of summer days as a wee boy! Me and my pals would head off to explore the surrounding countryside and swim in the river... mum would make
me sandwiches to take with me and tuna with sandwich-spread were my faves!
Fond memories... think I'll go and buy a jar (for the first time ever!).

don't knock it 'til you've tried it (referring to the spread ).
... but the Heinz cucumber spread was even better, not seen that in quite a while (unless I imagined it).

One of those tastes / smells that bring memories flooding back.
Great stuff and keeps a sandwich moist, but agreed it isn't the most photogenic filling.
Will have to smuggle a jar into the fridge. SWMBO also hates it (along with salad cream and marmite).
