PrizeWinna!!!

Guess who correctly ID'd one of Which Kit's mystery cars?
And they sent me a prize!! Yee- Hah!!
Well, it was a book on "Classic Kit-Cars". Still, nice to win something.

BTW - it was a Phoenix; looked very similar to a Mini Clubman. See pic :- Rescued attachment Phoenix0703.JPG

What did it use as a donor car?

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Was it a Reliant Kitten?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i doubt that many kittens were made to bother with it as a donor.

my grandfater, much to his distaste, used to be a reliant mechanic. He couldt understand the point of the kitten. The base car was wholly compromised to meet the weight regs of a 3 wheel car - 410kg I think - and then they stuck a fourth wheel on to make a totally pointless 4 wheel version.

Remember, people bought these things cos they could be driven on a bike licence - so addign a fourth wheel took away your customer base.

My father in law had a string of reliants - he was such a crap driver He never ever got his 'proper' license.

BTW - its a common misconception that del boy drives a robin - in fact its a reliant regal. Had many a lift in one of those to the bus station from my then girlfriends.

It didnt work tho - I still kept coming back
