Mysterious Docking Station type thing in new tip top
Just picked my new tin top up today (new to me that is).
It has a strange small electronic doodah, clearly fitted aftermarket, that I can't identify. It's small, just bigger than a 2p piece and
looks to me like something docks to it. There is a wire from it that you can't see in the pic that disapears into the dash.
Any ideas what it might be? Just curious before I remove it, incase it's useful?

That looks a lot like my old bluetooth phone kit.
It should have a button on the front that is pushy and turny.

It's a Nokia handsfree volume control that's missing it's knob.
Bottom right in this pic.

Looks suspiciously like part of a Nokia in-car hands free kit. Early kits used to have a sliver bezel, used to control volume by spinning it, and to
accept/hand up calls by pressing the button in the centre.
But hey, I could be wrong!

Wow - that was quick guys - thanks.
It does have a Nokia hands free set fitted. It works and fits my phone too, so I was going to keep it. I'll have to see if I can find a
replacement knob .
Thanks again,
Bill

Thanks again guys.
Next question: where could I buy a replacement button, without buying a complete new kit?
I suppose I'd better check all the cubby-holes as well, in case it's still in the car.
