My next project - "I wish"

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of these T-bucket kits? I know there used to be someone doing these a long while back in the UK but not seen/heard of any for a while.

Always fancied one of these, since seeing this one in "The Gumball Rally" when I were a lad.

an SVA/IVA impossibility unfornately i'd say MOT too, and even if you put a bonnet and front and rear wings on and took them off after iva and mot, i think the cops might have something to say for it

edit
oooh, i get it now, they do all the wings and stuff for them too happy days! i think you should

They have a street rod parade in Portsmouth/Plymouth or some such hole every year.
Why don't they get a pull? No Bonnets or engine covers on some of the cars. Especially the model T based cars.

I reckon you'd get away without the engine covers with most police, but I reckon on a normal day you'd get a tug if you had no wings on.

parades seem to have different rules. motorbikers are allowed to ride without helmets etc. i guess if the road is closed for a parade then its ok? maybe these cars have all their bodywork on for the rest of the time. or maybe just show cars which aren't road legal?

Do you actually need a bonnet? I mean, it's a good idea, but is it a legal requirement?

I've seen these cars on our roads as well so there must be a way of doing it. The look like great fun too.

Having been around these things in my youth, why would anyone in the land of sports cars want an ill handling straight line only machine, all the exposure of a 7 with none of the fun. One of the guys I worked with years a go had one with a 427 Chev big block, Can-Am rain tires on the rear and motorcycle wheels on the front and NO FRONT BRAKES, YOU TELL ME. By the way he is now the Chief of Police in Edmonton Alberta.

A few people mentioned the handling and I agree I'm sure they're tosh in the corners but that's not the point, I guess it's a bit like a Harley vs. a Hayabusa. It's the sort of thing I'd have just for cruising out to the coast and stuff when I fancy something a bit more sedate than the Indy.

Didn't Jago used to make one?
