Got mine when I first came over to the uk and started taking flying lessons. One of the instructors came over and said "eh, a flying kiwi then?" (no idea why) and the name stuck. Pretty much everything I do now has "The flying kiwi" attached to it.

My names Mark.

The tigere1 bit is a Tiger Cat E1. Always wanted to build one and I almost did until I found this forum.

To open a can of worms, I believe the Tiger E1 is one of the best looking seven replicas IMHO, engineering aside, so the Tiger E1 bit stayed when I joined the forum.

Hence marktigere1.

Cheers

Mark

A bloke at work used to call me Scoobystu, but that sounds like I'm either a Subaru freak or "one of those pesky kids!"

Changed it to Scubastu when I qualified as a diver.

i couldnt be bothered to use imagination when i thought my original posting name up, so just used my full name. I woulda forgotten anything flash anyway

I think there is an advantage hiding behing a nickname - you can be much more insulting without getting tracked down

My full name is Alejandro López or Álex López (we use Álex as a short for Alejandro in Spain). Long ago I picked these letters: ALEx lopeZ, for some internet account, I now use that all the time..

Colibrí is also some bird in Spanish, I guess the same bird?

The shout of anger after I have smashed my knuckles again trying to undo a rusted bolt. The biggest hammer more often than not never fixes the problem in hand, but somehow beating the s**t out of it sure makes me feel better.
