It was Mrs Peel!

Steed always refered to her as "Mrs Peel" in the Avengers.
Sad or what?

It is a very close call between Dianna Rigg and Alexandra Bastedo to a pre-pubescant youth! (Well I was at the time!)

Between Dianna Rigg and Alexandra Bastedo would be a very tough choice.
For me it was Servilan, ---- Mind you also had a thing about the girl in Adam Adamant and Sarah Jane in Dr Who

Anouska Hemple was another --- what was she in ?

None of the above, well apart from Dr Who - but only if it had Daleks in.

My favourite was "Survivors" c1975/77
I don't ever remember the series being repeated which is odd for a BBC production.

Anyone seen "Saphire and Steel" recently? It used to scare me when I was a litl'un but I saw it the other day and it has to be the worst acting I have ever seen, and as for the special effects....shockingly bad.

The Avengers is still ace though, even Blakes Seven's good in a cheesey sort of way.

I remember her from the Beiderbecke Affair. She never seems to age, or is she just keeping up with me.

They show Red Dwarf on PBS here. My son and I really like it, as well as "People Like US", "Coupling"(with Sara Alexander) and of course "The Prisoner" and "Hitchhikers guide"....
