Chris Moyles had Billy Piper on yesterday talking about Dr Who. He mentioned he'd love to go to the pub in a Darlek so I emailed hime the link

Offer of £2000 which I really can't take seriously (I've never spent that on a car)
Another guy wants to commission me to build another for him if he doesn't win.
Are some of you Locosters pulling my chain... or has this country gone insane

I have spoken to Astonmartin1974, He was the guy that wanted to commission me to build one for him if he doesn't win. I quickly turned the
conversation away from Daleks to cars and as part payment he offered me his car for the summer. Fully insured and ready to go.
Classic V8 Vantage.... And I believe he was being serious

Now I would assume every member of this forum is a practical guy who can use a jigsaw, router, drill etc. Anyone building or considering building a
car can whip up a bloody Dalek in a few evenings....
Lets see if the payment materialises though the second highest bidder actually came over yesterday to see him so I guess that one is genuine...

im really pleased for you!
However, i think this is a thing of the moment.
If you put it up in a month, I dont recon it would do half as well.
still, thats 1500 quid if taken literally!
