I don't tend to have grinder accidents these days even though the shield is removed, the handle is never fitted and I just fit & remove the
disks by hand, I do wear safety glasses most times (depends on what I'm doing or if I can be bothered looking for them) but have learnt to hold
it so that if it goes bang I'm not in the firing line. I did have one burst into flames once, like foot long flames coming out the vents god
knows what happened there but it was just toast. I did stand in amazement when one of my friends who borrowed it to cut of his rear silencer and had
all the safety gear on (cos he knows what he's doing...) aimed it so that the sparks fired straight back at his face, I was like what the f£ck
are you doing you nutter!

Always think about where the sparks and grinding waste is going to go. It has the potential to make a right mess of things!

Did this a fortnight ago Then to add insult to injury I fell of a ladder a couple of days latter taking the skin of it. Only thing I had to hand to
clean it with was 70% hand sanitizer
Welding my water rail I got it caught I. My welding gauntlet. Flinched and flicked up the inside of my arm.
