We just got one of these - think final bid was £190. 3 year guarantee, 3m water column etc. 6 1/2 foot high in the dome too.
All 3 rooms will take a double airbed although the middle one is slightly smaller. Dome is huuuuge though

Even for an Outwell he wants too much for it, especially if its a bit mildewy.

im being swayed toward this tent now , was it easy to put up

It was easy to put up. First time needed 3 people for the 3 main dome poles but I reckon now I've done it I could do it with 2 of us. Had to tie on all the guys first time out of the pack as well but a one time job. It has a seperate ground sheet for the main dome which is handy, and the 3 bedrooms have built in ones. One was missing a toggle hanger but there was a spare in the bag anyway. Cant complain for a £200 tent to be fair. If it only lasts us 4 summer hols I'll be satisfied as I would normally spend more than that on a sleeping bag!

As always with the domes, there was a fair bit of condensation on the dome just outside the bedrooms in the morning, but I was in the new forest the week it was nearly 90 deg so with 3 sweaty blokes for 4 nights it was no surprise! Dried out fine by mid morning.

We went to the camping exhibition run by Yeoman's this week and they have all their tents erected and on offer if you buy the one that is on display to remove at the end of the show. Tunnel tents look a lot easier to work with than the big dome tents.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
