My Daughter born on Thursday
I'm not a very public person but just proud to announce the birth of our baby daughter.
It'll mean more to those (unlucky) people who've met me but hey...proud parent alert and all that jazz....
Me and my first born daughter.
Gwenny
Oh and the best of luck to everyone else expecting soon - I know there was a few of us!
I've already shown her KC, she didn't seem very interested. Hopefully she'll reconsider her interest shown...

Congratulations to both you AND your wife (who did ALL the hard work). I trust that both Mother and daughter are doing well.

Thanks all
In my defence I'm recovering (badly) from a broken arm and wrist and it's not helping but yes - she's had a rough few days!

Congrats to you both
It's gotta be the best feeling in the world I reckon, both my boys had me grinning like an idiot for weeks after they were born. Now they make
me grimmace! lol! (only joking, both very handsome and decent chaps).
So, bring on the sleepless nights now then?
BTW, the missus has just reminded me, hope the car is finished mate otherwise it's gonna wait a looooong time

I remember my first, also a daughter but it over 20 years ago
Enjoy them while they are young as they only cost you more and more the older they get, but you still wouldnt change a thing.
Im still a proud dad 20 years on

Thanks Fozzie!
It's always a question women want to know isn't it, the weight?!
She was 7.6 and her name is Gwendoline Jennifer McLannahan.
Wife's doing well thanks, still in a bit of pain after the C section and complaining about the size of her boobs!

I'll vouch for the above. My son will be 21 this year and my daughter has just turned 18. We are just finishing weekend number two of three
weekends of celebrations for her eighteenth which has included a trip to London, several meals out, a limo trip to the races and finishes next weekend
with a private room at a club.
You'll be a long time skint but it's all worth it!!
ETA - Oh, and no lad will ever be good enough for her!!

Amazing feeling, mine are 27 and 25 now! A feeling only surpassed by receiving a MAC at SVA!!!!
