Best News I could Ever Have
Guys,
some of my posts may have seem'd a bit strange, nothing new there i hear a few say, well for a while now my mind as been on other
things..........
Today my partner got the "All Clear" i'm sure a few know what that means, we or should i say she as been living with the knowledge
she had Cancer, at 42 thats not what anyone wants, i suppose not at any age realy.
Where gonna take a break some where then when we get back i can get the GT1 build back up to speed, it as fell behind but i have amassed a huge pile
of goodies to place upon her and she should be up and racing mid-season.
So guys if ive given the impression of been a bit off or sharp at times now you know the reason why,
she's "All Clear" n we are both "Very Happy"
Lesson to learn, enjoy what you have whilst you can, you never know whats round the corner, and if you have any doubts, worrys get in there early, it
worked for us.

too rite we are, n thnx for the comments, i dont know which is hardest, having the illness or watchin some one you love, and i dont mind using the
word love, go through it all, at times i felt very selfish, there was bugger all wrong with me but i felt so down, angry, all sorts of things, not
telling anyone because you know it would make them feel awkward around you, trying to smile and be normal ect....
I tell you this though, some of the sights i saw in hospitals ect made me realise just how lucky most of us are.........

I'll bet you are both so relieved, Jon.
The big 'C' has touched my fmaily several times in the last few years, it's nice to hear a story with a happy ending.
I'm sure this has made you take stock of what is / isn't important, sounds like it anyway.
Enjoy your break away.
ATB to you both,
Rick

Jon - I read your posting with the mightiest feeling of compasion. No words are ever enough, but what is enough is knowing you have many
'friends' around you to support you. I'm sure I speak for many on LB when I say that although we are spread around the country we
all have one common bond - our cars. But let's not forget those who really do mean the most to us - and they are the one's who
'stamp our passports'... of course I mean our partners.
It's fantastic news Jon... ATB from our little Team over in Yorks.

glad to hear that, didnt detect any difference in you (in the nicest way)
7 or so years back my wife was in hospital with a growth and we spent 24 hrs not knowing if it was gonna be bad news or not. I have had a tiny taste
of what that feels like.
cheers

Cheers guys, was a very scary time, not recomended, yup the wedding string was linked,
When I 1st met her she was'nt or had never had naff all to do with cars other than driving them, I was testing at donnington, she dint even know
where it was, 1/2 way thru the session she turned up (just in time for me to buy lunch mind you) I knew then i had found a good'en, a few on here
where there at the time and may remember, i just remember thinking no one as ever done that for me, it felt good.
Any how thnx again guys, pic below, ok, ignore my "bad hair day" and "large belly day" anyone put names to faces ??
