I love SNOW!!!

Just been throwing myself down a local hill on my snow board (wrist, calves, & neck ache ). At least 6” of snow on the hill.
On the way saw some idiot in a Sierra get it very wrong on a mini roundabout he almost took two other drivers out and added another donor to the scrappy.

Have we got any other snow sports nutters on here?

I like snow, but ABS sucks sometimes

also not enough snow here to build an igloo using ice cream tub bricks, that's what I really like to do..

I built my sledge the other day. The 1" chassis tubing works a treat . I'm made up with cold now.

yours, Pete.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i used to love the snow - then i took the XR4x4 off the road for parts, now i hate it had a couple of very close ones in bus earlier, to much snow on hills to be driving buses about - power drifting them on corners is interesting tho thats snow sports, hehe

My handbrake cable is snapped so that is out for fun in my fwd car, so I tried the rally drivers left foot braking technique - it doesn't work with the abs, it seems to confuse things slightly!!

Better get a car built for next winter

This is what happens when the roads get a bit icy round here, a couple of saturdays ago when we had a real cold night and a big frost in the morning on Sunday.

Well Sunday was spent removing the gate (s) and fence from under this ladies car then backing it out when her husband came to get her.

this is taken from my bedroom window, stopped anout 3 feeet from the lounge window!

She lost it on the bend about 40 yards down the road and did a nice "S" snake and took out 2 gates, one 8 inch square gate post and a few mwters of dividing fence, and a few feet of hedge.

I was out there in about 30 seconds ready to pull some gay hairdresser out of the side window and give him a good pasting but it was a mid 40s lady who was in a whole world of shock.

I got her out and her husband came to fetch her, they are our nearest neighbour on up the lane (a mile away), never met them before. Turns out he has a pristine MGBGT V8 tucked away in the garage and his neighbour has a nice GD cobra replica.

Thouroughly nice people too, shame she cant drive for sh*t!

my journey home from milton keynes to kettering started at 4pm yesterday - I got home at 11pm!!!!! 7 friggin hrs to do a 32 mile 50 min journey!!!!

RWD isnt a good thing. ABS wasnt a problem - you couldnt brake anyway, so it didnt matter.

traction control is another thing. Worse than fu%^ng useless. going up a hill, it detects a loss of traction, and throttles back to tickover, until you stop.

I had to drive on literally 10mm thick sheet ice for miles, and turning off the traction was the only way to do it.

why beemer fit it to a 118hp car is beyond me - tits on a nun.
