For anyone who saw my post last week about unhlepful couriers delivering engines, my delivery arrived this morning dropped off by a helpful guy with a
tail lift truck.
All looked good until I pulled the plastic wrapping off to see the damage!

I'm assuming this is down to the courier rather than the state the seller sent it in.
Suffice to say I'll be getting back to the seller!

bummer, couriers are a right bunch of animals.
They bashed two brand new beetle doors twice which had to be returned and destroyed a very hard to get bluebird panel I tried to get delivered,
can't stand them one bit. I worked as one years ago and saw how the treat stuff in depots.
forget writing fragile, put....

what state was the wrapping in?
it does look like its been dropped to me.
It was wrapped in polythene so hard what had happened as thre poly was all ripped.
I guess it has been dropped or at least fallen over heavily.

Or, judging the way they drive, might have rolled in the van.
HMMMMMMMM!!!!
Just waited in allll day for a parcel collection.
Said they will be here sometime between
10:00am and 5:00pm
It's 5:15 and they just turned up

On the bright side they turned up on the right day, or worse, as some do, claim they turned up and no-one was in.
There are definitely good and bad examples. At work we use UPS mainly for small stuff. They aren't the cheapest but we have generally been very
happy.
When we get stuff delivered, bigger stuff has to go to the workshop/yard which isn't always manned. We had a pump coming last week and the
courier wanted to drop Tuesday pm. We told him that this wasn't convenient and rearranged for Thurs pm when someone would be there. Thursday
morning we get a call to say that the driver is at our unit and there is no one there (surprise!). We tell him that we will have someone there in 10
mins. Our guy was there within 10 mins and the driver has gone so we phone the depot to be told that he has left the pump (worth roughly £4k!)
"by the unit". After 30 mins of searching with no joy we contacted security to see if his CCTV would show where it had been unloaded and
found that he had left it by the security hut.
