Hmm, 7 weeks since I applied for SVA, 5 weeks till the test
waiting for an sva date
Drove 35 miles to this month's East Anglian Kit Car Club meeting in Diss. Very pleasant trundling up the A140 (few opportunities to go fast),
but coming back was a fair bit slower - A140 blocked, so we saw a few bits of Suffolk we'd never seen before!
EAKCC June meeting
Only trouble is that I was getting very hot under my helmet (ooer!) so I drove quite a long way with my visor up (inner sun-shield visor down). Now
my eyes are streaming due to hayfever...

Up untill 2 weeks ago I used to hate these threads. Not anymore cos I've just got back from 100 miles around the Cheshire/Derbyshire border.
Think I've got sunburn.

I have just arived back at base after going to the east coast run. a good turn in good weather.
There were a few kitcars, a yellow ultima, a nice grey MK indy. two midges, and a VW speedster. there may have been more.
Anyhow after walking about there and driving home sans helmet I have a very red bonce, (I wish I still had a full head of hair)
Regards Kipper.

spent the day looking after the g/f who got food poisoning last night. Almost too nice to be in the garage working on the car (well at least the
neighbours got a break from the noise).
Wanted to go out, but had a bit of a hangover early on, and then couldn't get my oil pressure light to work right so I've not been out at all.
Gardening!
Well, whilst looking around random gardens (see my previous post!) I spotted a piece of car in a battered old shed. The owner saw me gawping and took
me to see the rest of his bits. It was an MNR Vortex! He says the chassis was given to him and it was one of the very first ones MNR built. He then
produced a full set of bodywork in Gulf colours which came from the original Vortex demonstrator....
We then spent ages discussing how to get a built car up a very steep slope, over a 7foot wall and on to the road....
My car was horrendous! My newly fitted Atlas with LSD make the car do circles.
yep know the guy geoff jaggs, he won the chassis in a competion at harrogate show the first or maybe second time we went
cheers

I was in the garage, making things, but the door kept blowing open and the car was outside in the sunshine so I just ditched it all and went for a
blast!
Cheers
Chris
Marc N, thats the guy! My other half teaches his daughter to play the violin.....
