OOOOHHHH, OOOOHHHH.
tense or what?
What !!!! Oh right rugby !!! Anyway good luck to the winners
Is anybody else irritated by the screaming from the referee or coaches? Too loud for me.
DOHHH
I'm gutted but probably a fair result - just
not happy

THEY DID NOT DESERVE TO WIN THAT
what a crappy ref, disalowed that try, ignored their blatent obstuction on more than one occasion.
what a load of rubbish
Boks did deserve to win it, but it could of been a bit different with a few different calls from the Ref - but thats the game isn't it, so no
point crying about it... (he says in tears!!)
Steve
edit: And it wasn't the Ref that disallowed the try...

That was sooo tense it was unbearable..... Totally agree the mikes were far too loud. I turned the sound down couldn't bear to listen to
it....and got me saxophone out instead....
Gotta agree about the decisions, but also have to agree that the Boks 'just' had the slight edge over our gallant warriors.........
Fozzie
I thought the worst noise was the idiot commentators. Talked nearly as much crap as James Allen from F1.
Anyway fair result with a fair score line IMO
And unfortunatly it wasn't a try, even martin johnson had to admit that, but well played England.
Paul
Well played England always next time
Description
Well
we were the holders, and we got to the final, and gave the british supporters somthing to live for, shame we lost
Our footballers can not even qualify for the micky mouse cup next year
sums the overpaid tossers right up

He's not scottish you know.
was a great game to watch, never realised rugby was so good!

The referee was crap, Rolland has always been a crap ref!!
There was so much going on that he let go, (from both sides), but more so it seemed with the 'boks. Tripping is a yellow card offence, end of. If
Moody was adjudged to have tripped a player, (which he was), then he should have walked to the bin for 10. Habana blatently crossed and therefore
obstructed 30m out in his own half right in front of the ref. Nothing was done. And thats just two examples.
The game was not a good game, Ive seen far better, but to be honest I didnt expect it to be that good a game because there was too much riding on it.
However......
England played well and played all the football. SA line out was dominant, but they were not dominant in the scrum, especially when Vickery was
substituted by Stevens. SA never even looked like scoring either. England were the only side to cross the line and it was disallowed.
All in all I think that England can be proud of their achievment and can also feel more then agrieved at some of the decision making. I dont think SA
have played that well, Argentina gave them a real good run in the semi but ultimately their fitness let them down.
I agree about the commentators, they definalty were on a par with Allen from F1, total bollx. They have to appear to be non partisan but I think they
were trying to hard!
Anyway, bad luck England and well played. There is no doubt in my mind that the 'Boks got lucky with the calls. However they now hold the cup, so
congratulations to them.

Yaaay
Although it wasn't a great game the only team to be unbeaten in the tournament won the Cup which makes it as fair as you can get in my eyes.
I don't think you will ever get good veiwing rugby in a final - there is just too much risk in passing the ball round freely.
Also - although England won many more turnover balls than SA and where stronger in the Scrums and in my eyes generally looked the better team on the
field they never managed to capatilise on it, and gave away risky penalties against the best kicker in the tournament - so they lost the
game....
The other thing that won us the trophy is that, although it seems to have cost him his job, for the first time in almost ten years of world cups in
all sports the Coach fielded his best team and not a quota team. Just look at some of the top performers in your cricket and rugby teams to look at
the talent this policy has cost us
