And they all rushed to his aid. NOT
The guy in the black cap even took a photo BEFORE asking if he was okay
I get the feeling he had been showing off, revving the motor or whatever before he pulled off, staight into the pole - Hence the laughter in the pub?

HA HA HA HA!
Glad to see their not made of butter but something harder like icecream...
Buy the way Welderman anytime you want to post its ok by me
The driver obviousely has sex on his own ..... a lot
Oh, that's a shame. I like the Ferraris and don't like seeing them bent.
Bloke has Obviously more money than brains... or talent....
He was obviously too embarrassed to get out of the car. Shows that having money doesn't mean you can drive, plus with that many people around and the amount of damaged caused the guy was presumably behaving like a t**t.
At least it brought a smile to a few faces!
the dude in the black shorts looks well amused!
If the guy in the front of the picture in the first image is the owner, who wants to bet the front of his jumper has "FERRARI" written on it, in large letters...
I like the guy still sitting in the car, arm casually resting on the door trying to style it out, 'yeah, I meant to do that'
No skid marks

Even a Ferrari isn't THAT delicate - he must have been going at a decent speed, had his foot well planted on the loud pedal, or both, to create
that sort of damage.
I reckon that's a few £10K's worth of damage there - factory rebuild, probably (if they do that sort of thing).

In the end, it's a tragedy that such a nice car's got wasted. Poor beggar's probably sitting in his car 'cos he's in severe shock and unable to move...

Re "gloating" , the point is that to cause that much damage to a car, on a bright clear day, on a surburban intersection, with no other
vechicles involved, he had to be doing something stupid.

Just got a mail to say it happened 3 weeks ago, in Australia (Perth)

2004 Ferrari 360 Spyder
Description:
The driver apparently got drunk at a bar and decided to show off his car as he was leaving. He ended up crashing into a pole right in front of the
bar. All the patrons were jeering and laughing at him after the crash.
Location:
The Windsor Hotel, South Perth, Australia
Then he gets no sympathy from me!

3x over the limit and did a runner allegedly.
Sympathy has hit negative...
"It is understood the insurance policy on the car becomes void if the driver is found to be guilty of drink-driving. Also, the driver would have
to pay for damages to the traffic light."
$300,000 for the car + probably $10,000 (if they charge like we do)
Sympathy remains sub zero...
