ned - 29/12/06 at 07:41 AM

RazMan - 29/12/06 at 08:51 AM

I think that's the general idea. To take the Legends formula and improve the 'eye candy' portion of that formula. I think they have hit upon something. I'll bet its hilarious to see a pack of those screaming around the track.

They really do remind me of those shrunken photoshopped supercar images that were being used as avatars.

BTW - did you watch the in-car video of it being driven? One excellent pilot.

Something similar been running in Aus for some years.

They all started off after the Legends things got people thinking.

Cheers,
Syd.

Hasn't anyone told you that racing is a RICH man's sport!? Obviously no-one has told them it ISN'T...

Yeh, they are called "aussie racing cars" and they are sometimes on motors tv. They are made to look like miniature V8 Super Cars.
Go like the clappers!!

macnab - 29/12/06 at 10:02 PM

possibly one of the highest cost to size ratio's ever there...

It's just go-kart with a bike engine really??

greggors84 - 30/12/06 at 01:49 AM

Not too far off a brand new legends racer really. And you are getting a lot more bodywork. Depends on what is underneath really.

But could be quite a cheap form of motorsport if you could pick a 2nd hand one up in a couple of years.

iank - 30/12/06 at 04:00 PM

Cool, always liked the legends, which are visually more interesting/unusual.

Cars from racing companies always seem to cost much more than the same components from kit companies.

Couldn't see a basic kit being more than £4-5k, though most kits are too cheap IMO. The real problem would be promoting a race series on the cheap.

Can't see any problem making them road legal, a lot simpler than getting a 7 through I'd have thought.
