Does anyone know of a make of TV sender that has a VGA out so that I could use a 15" lcd monitor as an extension tv in my kitchen , showing what
is on the main TV.
or a source of a cheap scart to vga adaptor.
is there any reason I cannot wire my own if I get the pinouts?

these will convert tv-vga, you will have to run wires or use a seperate tv sender though, I looked into this a while back and i could nt find
anything to convert tv-vga AND wirelessly send the signal.
i ended up buying this and using
this to get sky in my bedroom on a 19" widescreen monitor

I used to have a monitor that had a twin audio plus single video input, not sure what that connection is called but it is the same as an audio lead
but is for the video connection. You can easily buy scart to a/v leads, then send these via the sender if your monitor has a/v inputs??
(I had the same setup with a monitor in my kitchen relaying what was on in the living room so I wasn't left out when cooking during foody
p155ups!!! )

Maplins would probably be able to help. They have EVERYTHING!!!
The Maplin's video sender is cr*p 6 metres range tops.
Somebody is bound to post that they're getting 23 miles out of thiers now.
Cheers,
Bob
Have you looked at the price of a 15" lcd tv. I seem to remember seeing them at below £150, possibly argos.
Rich
the whole point of me doing what I posted about above was because of the price of lcd tvs. i got a 19" widescreen monitor/tv form pc world for £160, what value!
Could use something like this and a sender...

Would still only come to £60 ish , no point in spending much as you might as well buy an lcd tv....
