Broken Mirror
locoboy - 2/11/06 at 07:00 AM

Got home last night about 1.00am to find this lying on the drive it had 'fallen off' the GF's car.

Only thing we can think of is that someone tried to turn round in our drive which is pretty tight and clocked it and ripped it off.

Any ideas on what to use to possibly fix it / glue it back together with?

If not does anyone know what type of mirror it is so i can scour the net for a cheaper alternative to a BMW rip off one!

Its off a 330D sports mith M trim level if thats any help.

Much appreciated

Oooooh got a feelin that ones gonna be expensive! My boss had an old peugoet with electric mirrors. When one went missing it was £400 to have it replaced!
Try one of the part finders on the net. When my girlfriend knocked the corsa one off it was gonna be £80 to fix it. Got it off part-finder for £35 delivered....had to prime and spray it though which adds a bit of hassle....still saved at least £30 though! Oli.

Did you have any 'trick or treat'ers round the other day. This is the sort of thing the little s***s do if you don't give in to their demands for money

Anyone got any ideas on what type of glue to use to stick it back together because i have mabaged to find all the bits.

It needs to be something that will stick with a very thin layer as there is no 'gap' as such to fill because i have all the parts of the moulding and it fits back together very well.

think it might be ABS plastic???

thanks
