How about this?

ed_crouch - 1/5/06 at 07:18 PM

The windscreen on that red monstrosity looks awfully like a Metro tailgate, dunnit?!?

Ed.

Peteff - 1/5/06 at 08:42 PM

There's a reason for that, it's a Metro tailgate. Robin Hood Kaig I think.

ed_crouch - 1/5/06 at 09:05 PM

I have to preach here!

There is NO POINT in having a kitcar if it doesnt do something that no production car can do.

As homebuilders, we simply do not have the ability to tool up and produce interior fittings, bodywork fittings, custom bumpers etc like VAG, BMW, Ford, Vx, Mercedes do. Therefore, our cars either need to be simple (a la locost / 7) or have a stonking level of support from replica part manufacturers, like the numerous Cobra parts suppliers.

Simple, Spartan, light and FAST.

But the Spartan was, ugly, heavy and certainly not fast?
