Electolysis for mi shackle
Avoneer - 3/3/06 at 11:26 PM

Is this right:

Big plastic box full of water.

Full bag of them crystals in the water.

Mi rusty shackle dangling in the middle of the water.

My old 5 amp CB psu negative terminal conneced to mi shackle.

My old 5 amp CB psu positive terminal connected to a 12" square piece of 3mm steel plate leaning against one side of the box (in the water though).

Leave for 24 hours and come back?

Yes

I find it works best with an electrode each side.

I bet there won't be a single rusty thing in sight within 24 hours, I couldn't stop
