We have one at Heathrow airport (Hatton Cross) thats similar, although the heathrow one you can drive anti clock around the roundabout which can be a tad scarey in the rush hours which are 24/7

I've been on the 'Magic Roundabout' in Swindon. I found it no trouble at all ... however the driver was a bit panicky

I've been round it a few times as a passenger (obviously) and its not as difficult as it looks!

Ive been round the one in hemel a couple of times. Not as bad as you think. Although i did see a learner drive being taken round there, which i thought was a bit harsh!

The Hemel one has 6 mini-roundabouts in one hasn't it?

Chris

the sad thing is that in cornwall there is a roundabout known as chiverton cross (main a30 in), it has 6 roads converging, the number of accidents there is appauling!! most times you hear of accidents, it involves that roundabout!. Apart from goss moor of course, once again main (a30) road into cornwall, a train bridge which high vehicles hit with monotonous regularity even with BIG warning signs !

the one at swindon is wierd, i found it in the dark and am not sure i took the most direct path across it!

Ned.

How old is the pickie? When was the last time you saw a Montego saloon, Fiesta Mk1 and a Pug 309 in the same frame?

JoelP - 23/5/05 at 09:37 PM

id guess it to be around 1995, due to two escorts of around that vintage. nothing newer that i can see in the piccy?
