The local bike shop used to keep a few bits of interesting kit to amuse customers while they were waiting or browsing, burnt pistons, bent conrods etc. My favouirite was a rear sprocket which someone had recut with a hacksaw , very badly. A new one was only about £10 at the time and it must have cost him that in blades.

hehe ,seen a few of those in the past.
and along the sime sort of thing
i used to tell people every day not to tighten up there chains so tight and that its better to run a little slack ,one day a bloke came into the work shop complaining that his rear suspension had seized,went outside to have a look and found that one of his m8's had adjusted his chain that tight it wasnt allowing the swinging arm to move at all
