I have begun adding a new section to our website:
Rebuild...
On it are pictures of the crashed and soon to be totally stripped car.
I have altered the format a little for those that complained of the carbon fibre background... until I design a new one that is
Thanks for showing these crash pictures. Large pictures are always helpful to anyone planning on building a seven.
Seeing what breaks in a crash even more so.
Hope you get it up and running soon
Just a little dent! sort that in five hundred hours.
You hit the chassis in the worst place.....safest for the driver thou.
hmm , interesting pictures , what did you hit ? How much twist was in the chassis ?
how far did the chassis crumple ? the bright sparks among us could work out how many Gs you took
I've been looking at more pictures of the dammaged car on your site. Can you tell me if the sides had partly bent at the points indicated by the
red arrows ?
Rescued attachment mk_indy.jpg
Jon - as far as we can tell, there is no damage whatsoever to the places you have indicated. It is the shape of the MK chassis which is designd that
way.

I dont quite understand what that means - could you explain a little more?
chrisg - 16/1/05 at 03:23 PMIt's a computer/ car crash similie, obviously a bit obscure

Metal Hippy - 16/1/05 at 04:57 PMAny danger you can shrink down the size of the pictures on your site?
2 reasons..
I'm on 56k for a few more weeks and it's a bastard when trying to view broken cars / porn etc...
Also, 1200x1600 is massive by any standards unless you're one of the lucky few with a hugeass monitor...
Other than that it's a good job it wasn't a side impact... Bad luck mate.

Got the monitor and the connection
Forgot to resize and optimise!!! Firefox resizes automatically, then allows you to zoom. Still takes a while to download though.
Done
Metal Hippy - 16/1/05 at 09:07 PMBalls to you, your monitor and your connection
I'll take a look at your pictures properly now
