Dependent on which camp your in we are lucky or unlucky enough to have the torch passing right by our gates tomorrow, we have no parking signs up the roads been closed ect.....

I just popped out to put our 2 wheelie bins out , the pavement both sides is littered with bins, I'm suprised no one picked up on this not ideal ?

Including driving the wrong way up a one way street.....

We've been to the hospital tonight and they are putting cones down all the roads and everyone is expected to move their cars and the hospital route is closed to all except emergency vehicles for an hour and half tomorrow, all for a busload of minor celebrities to drive through and shout "come on make some noise". Where has all the dignity gone ?

Please video the olympic people's reaction to the torch going past with loads of bin bags littering the streets xD

For the price of the olympics you could have funded a LOCOST build for everyone with a driving license in the UK!!! I know what I'd rather have.....

Well to be honest street looks well this morning, plenty of flags out, police just walked up hill taking bins back in that haven't been, (and checking inside them all)

Not going to be a spoilsport, looks like we could have a great morning, open top buses going up and down playing music, even sado isonblade is getting into the spirit, just put my England shirt on

Just had road sweeper up to, there's a first.

Isnt it amazing what the local authorities will do for a national event, but not for the local residents?

We've just had nearly all of the major roads in Stevenage resurfaced because of the queens visit and the olympic torch event.

loggyboy - 29/6/12 at 09:26 AM

Whats this 'Olympics'??? is it some sort of camera company advertising?

The queen thinks that all public buildings smell of new paint... allegedly...

Not that we want to but can't even display 2012 !!! Worse than catering van and the number 7 ? Basically we have been told to hide away until it's past, it's there road.
