Good to hear you're OK, there will be a waiting list for the Alternator........

MikeR - 22/11/10 at 04:15 PM

I'll give you a tenner for it - happy to rebuild over winter (and redo my garden during the spring).

Digging up a hedge rather than going over it, lol, hope you not traumatized.

Joe

Will that roll cage pass the FIA scrutineers on race day

FFTS - 22/11/10 at 04:58 PM

Not much of a roll cage if you ask me.

Looks like it just flopped on it's side and the cage didn't make it roll

Johneturbo - 22/11/10 at 05:06 PM

how fast were you going... speed kills you know

Peteff - 22/11/10 at 05:45 PM

Where did you get that from Jon? My brother in law is a contractor and sends his lads on a special course (expensive) to teach them how to do that with a mini digger

indykid - 22/11/10 at 06:07 PM

engage the SRiMech!

Was that bucket ok for the via I'm thinking of using one for my car, sorry for your loss but hopefully you can rebuild(or just brush the mud off)
First dibs on the bucket?

My ex boss was using one of those at work a few years ago and did the same . Unfortunatly he tried to put his foot out to stop it going over, BIG mistake!

Looks like the soft ground was your undoing.........

heavy mud in the bucket gets stuck and when you try to loosen it .....

It sinks and the whole rig just flops over.

Watch starting it when you get it upright as the oil can seep past the rings and hydraulic lock it damaging the rods,

Both me and two of my near neighbours have done the same thing.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a heavy clay that works ok when its dry but some rain made it soft and gave it suction from *ell after a little rain.
Very tippy on soft clays
