My fantastic girlfriend
FFTS - 3/1/10 at 01:40 PM

I thought running out of fuel on the M61 was bad enough. I had to phone my girlfriend and ask her to deliver a can of petrol to me on the hard shoulder. Without complaint she delivered the goods. But I think I've pushed it a bit too far today. After I'd strapped myself into my non-reversing BEC I couldn't be bothered to unclip myself so I sat on the drive honking my horn until she came out to see what the problem was. I then ordered her to push ME AND THE CAR off the drive. WOW what a woman.

Yeah I ran out of petrol on the M20 a while back and the wife came out with a can. Unfortunately the breakdown people arrived really quickly and by the time she got there I'd gone. Then she got lost!

The breakdown bloke followed me to Tesco, and while I was chatting to him a Police car pulled up beside the Tiger. Two coppers got out and spent about 20 minutes looking over it - at which point I sidled over expecting to get a telling off about my slightly sideways approach towards Tesco. Turns out one of them was a kit car fan and had been to look at a Tiger earlier in the day

Sounds amazing......Is there anything she doesn't do

Did you forget you had no reverse? My missus would've given me two sore knackers to remind me!

I noticed you said girlfriend, once she becomes the wife you've got no chance of any acts of kindness.

Before my parents were married, my dad got stuck somewhere and since my mum was deemed not good enough to drive the car at the time (a 1956 TR3), she had to push to get started. She never let him forget that one.

When I was small, she got very upset with me once, because I told my dad she had ground the gears. Hey, no synchro in first, what did he expect?

OK, so it's out of focus and stuff, but if I was taking a photo of some other blokes missus two seconds after I've just met him, her and the little one, then he might of said something, and my wife would of been chowing on my nuts for dinner!!!
