Those of you who have been to Lanzarote will have seen the restaurant rather dubiously built on top of a volcano that they cook over what looks like a
well. Which is infact not a well at all but a large chamber (I’d recon it’s about 40ft in diameter) in the cone that is, if you look at the photo I
took still glowing!
Tbh I was totally amazed with the whole thing, the heat coming out of the “well” was about 250 degs and was rather like standing at the back of a
space heater. I managed to get this shot holding the camera very briefly over the edge and thought I’d post it to let you see something rather weird
Also is a photo of inside one of the more exposed lava tubes, this continues out under the sea and up to one of the volcano’s, though some parts have
collapsed. Highly recommend seeing both sections open to the public and the other section is about the height of a cathedral inside
Enjoy
well

I would be most upset if my chicken was ruined by a volcanic burb.... I understand molten Mag-Ma is nasty stuff!
I also have a photo, the same as picture three..
I went to Lanzagrotty, once, about 5 years ago...
The hotel was nice....
