I love it.
Very acurate exept for the steering wheel, its upside down the flat bit should be at the bottom

BenB - 14/8/09 at 09:20 PM

Love the steering wheel

clairetoo - 14/8/09 at 09:21 PM

meals on wheels

mookaloid - 14/8/09 at 09:22 PM

great stuff

MikeR - 14/8/09 at 09:22 PM

Thats fabulous - hope she wins.

For my brithday last year a friend 'made' me a kit car cake!

Well she (she's a proper fully qualified engineer) wrote up the instructions to make a cake from the parts supplied .....

match sticks for the chassis frame (not fully triangulated - i picked her up on that), welded with melted chocolate, marzipan for the bodywork, liquorish wheel etc etc.

Running joke is i've still not finished it - bit like the real car!!!

LBMEFM - 14/8/09 at 09:23 PM

Brill, well done, do we get a slice sent to us if we post a reply?

owelly - 14/8/09 at 09:23 PM

Is it IVA compliant?

omega0684 - 14/8/09 at 09:27 PM

love the oreo's as the wheels and tyres, clearly she's gone for the FIA approved supersoft (white stripe) compound from last years f1

DarrenW - 14/8/09 at 09:36 PM

Awesome

Deserves a big win.

blakep82 - 14/8/09 at 09:42 PM

madteg - 14/8/09 at 10:31 PM

Great, you know she will want the real thing when she grows up.

roadrunner - 14/8/09 at 10:46 PM

It looks very tasty, but you need to block out the reg number, you don't want the unscrupulous types using it.

CRAIGR - 15/8/09 at 06:59 AM

Needs to run a bit more negative camber otherwise it'll scrub the outside off the biscuits on hard cornering.
Looks great though

MikeR - 15/8/09 at 07:41 AM

hope she carries it very carefully, there is no roll over bar to protect it if it all goes wrong

Peteff - 15/8/09 at 08:19 AM

Is she doing a Haynes' manual for it ? A publishing deal would be the icing on the cake.

I'll get me coat

02GF74 - 15/8/09 at 09:25 AM

WOW!!! that is pretty amazing.

Make sure you have a photo of a 7 otherwsie people won't understand why the car is that shape.

Sheepy40 - 15/8/09 at 10:44 AM

Awww...love the wheels.

Ninehigh - 15/8/09 at 11:02 AM

Way cool

Slater - 15/8/09 at 08:10 PM

Result - 2nd place - £1.50 prize, so not bad.

The winner was a horse and cart made from ice cream cones, wafers and spagetti

Can't wait till next year!

neilj37 - 15/8/09 at 08:17 PM

Good effort and good to see you have started her young. She will be wanting to build a proper one next or failing that rebuild yours LOL

Fozzie - 15/8/09 at 08:20 PM

Many congratulations to young Slater-ette ...

Fozzie

Ninehigh - 16/8/09 at 08:39 AM

Nice one, and at least there was actually someone who came first. Anyone remember that woman who entered a cake competition and came second, only to find she was the only entrant?
