It'll fit, but it's tight

Not as tight as a Jag engine

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Yes mine fits just fine. Although the alternator needs some thinking and I think I'll need a remote oil filter.

try and keep the engine low or you wont get any body work to fit

I think mine might even be a touch lower than that.

Hi

If your building your own chassis it will save a lot of 'fettling' if you make the sides an inch higher, (even if you just add an additional rail to both sides welded to the top of the book rails), wonder how I came to that conclusion!

This is a blacktop in my new chassis, which has had an inch added in height from the 'H' tube by your knee to the front frame. The sump sits 30mm below the chassis rails level with the bottom of the bellhousing.
