How to Build A Dune Buggy by Earl Duty

Hi, looking for self build plans for an on road type buggy sva, able.
Not the beach buggy type that used to be used by the Monkees. (Showing my age i think.)
Found this book on Amazon.
Peoples views on this would be good, and any other plans available be helpful.

Thanks in advance
Nige

I have a copy of the Pirhana plans from http://www.edge.au.com/

Very comprehensive plans but buggy is not intended for road use. But if you follow the rules I guess it can be done. Rescued attachment piranha_2.jpg

I have this book.

It is very comprehensive, almost too much for anyone who is not a complete beginner.

IIRC it focuses more on a build using a pre-bought frame rather than welding your own chassis.

If you have a pile of parts (including a chassis) than this could be for you.
If you have a pile of tubing, then maybe not.

All IMO of course.

Don't Haynes do a book on building your own off-road buggy??

Written by a certain well known Se7en style car designer/builder.
