Is that a bit of the bolt sticking upwards or do the bolts project into the tank?
Cant quite picture it - even though theres a picture - if you know what i mean!

How about heating the end of the bolt with a soldering iron and trying to pull it out?

Grind the top flat, support it from underneath and centrepunch it. Then start with progressively larger bits till you get to the thread and you may
then be able to peel it out with snipe nose pliers or tap what's left out. The heat from drilling may work it loose if you're lucky.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

That sounds usefull as i am planning a megasquirt conversion during the winter, Ill keep my eyes open for one.Just have to decide what engine to use ,
i have a crossflow fitted and a blade engine that I was going to fit, but am tempted by a 160 +hp zetec which should be easy to achieve .
Paul.

Thanks for the tips on the bolt, still stuck though
For those interested in the golf fuel pump, theres a few on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=9889&item=4554400869&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
I havn't been able to find specs on the pumps flow and pressure ratings, but i'm hoping it will work ok on a 150bhp pinto

It should work no problem. The std mechanical fuel pump is supposed to be almost man enough for 150bhp so high pressure pump should be good.
You may need to think about a fuel pressure regulator. I got one for £25ish with adjustable dial (im running 38DGAS and had facet red top in stock so
will be regulating it down quite a bit - plenty in reserve for future upgrades.)
