Bling or tarty?

Well! I couldn't resist it, I had to do a special effect on something, and I chose the wheels. I put down a really coarse silver basecoat, followed by a clearcoat with holographic silver with some blue metalflake added. A nice heavy clear to seal it all in. They look a sort of gunmetal colour until sunlight falls on them, then they sparkle like diamonte jewellery Rescued attachment Bling.jpg

Never seen it, I havent got SKY!, I always wanted to do a special on something, but never had either the time/money/equipment until now, but chickened out on the main paintwork, I wonder if anyone will notice when the car is in motion with the wheels spinning!

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I think they look blarty. Youve managed a careful fusion of bling and tarty!!! put them on and gauge the re-action at the shows. I think i like them, will be nice to see them on the car in sun light.

I cannot help kerbs, but I painted the wheels with the tyres on. I got them fitted and balanced with adhesive weights on the inside, and the rebroke the top bead, masked up and painted them. I you look at the first picture, you can see the tyre Rescued attachment Bling4.JPG
