Advice please..car purchase

My son and myself are pondering buying something for the weekend..I am 5'10" (rather well proportioned) he is 6'4" with long legs..

A) What would be the best car to cover both our requirements..( 7esque)

B) pondering separate seats to suit each of us as in endurance racing....plausable??

T.I.A people..

I am 6'3"+ and wider than most. I can get in and drive a conventional 7 with careful choice of seats and pedals. But I wouldn't describe it as comfortable. The roll bar is all so pretty redundant as a my head with a crash hat is above it.

That said I am thinking of looking for a viento next year. Or a tintop convertible.

I have a Viento and its very comfortable. You sit in it rather than 'on it'. In fact generally when I get in a car or van I push the seat back to its stop. In my Viento I have a couple more inches further back to go than I like it. I am even thinking of making some bespoke luggage that fits behind the seats. I can also fit a kitbag and small toolkit in the boot.

They are in proportion though, so look fine when standing alone.
