The not very Locost Donkervoort GT! With pics!!
Hi all,
When I was at the ring a few weeks ago I found an amazing se7en style car. It was immaculate. I said to my mates. Im gonna build one of these!

I since found out that this particular model uses the Audi 1.8T engine and runs at 300bhp! It had twin intercoolers and cost about £80K!!!
Check out their site.

Oh and no im not getting one now!
My thoughts are to possibly build a Donkervoort inspired one. The styling and induviduality of these things are incredible.
Grrrrr the second pic wont show, and its the best one!!!

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

If someone with some fibreglass skills were to make a door/roof kit that copied that car I bet they would be onto a winner.
Obviously the rest of the car is amazing, but that roof and door combo is EXACTLY what I'm looking at for mine.

It is certainly an awesome beast but I think it looks a bit odd from some angles.
I much prefer the original, open version

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

how big was it compared to a "normal" sized seven? It looks bulky but it's nicely proportioned

front and rear track are 147cm. Same as a standard Sierra (and MK, MNR, etc....)

very nice looking but not sure how good the roof would be, from the vid, the doors are still part fabric or some sort and the dash board was all wet
i quite like this, especially the power plant. 2.4 V8 n/a with 380 bhp.
