COOL VW Beetle based car
Has anyone ever considered building a car based on a VW beetle? Like this?

There was a nice one on eBay a couple of weeks ago... went for £7500.

Having previously been into the whole aircooled scene the RSK was oe of the types I originally considered building.
I preferred it in RS60 form with the full windscreen.

I nearly built one a few years ago. I bought a LWB beach buggy for the chassis and engine, it was a '64 chassis so had the old style 5 bolt
hubs. All I needed was the bodywork, but then a friend offered me silly money for the buggy, so it went. Maybe one day I'll have another go.....
