The Stylus - it looks prettier! the bonnet on the Fury is horrible.
Surely you will ditch either of the engines and fit a bike engine anyway!?

The Fury - it has a K series and Minilites.
Any of the two actually, but the Fury for me.

don't be daft, the fury is beautiful.
Definitely the fury, although you may have some more competition now
(lies, I don't have any money )
The stylus doesn't float my boat.

Of those two the stylus.
Fury needs the lowline bonnet and a respray to something other than that green.
Stylus doesn't suit a BEC IMO, better with a V8 or a cosworth.
p.s. Ivan has the most sensible comment so far

They are more or less the same chassis wise, so it comes down to your peronal choice, do you want to drive it home or do a bit of work, do you
need/want a boot, the Stylus is up for 4K but will take a chip where as the Fury hasn't made the reserve(as yet), plus the colour is kin awful,
£1000 ish for a respray
my car is basic interior wise, just alloy panels to save weight, so i would say find out what needs doing on th Stylus.
ps: it won't cost much to stick a redtop/Ecotec in there
Must try harder

The Fury I guess, but would make do with either. Think I'd prefer a crossflow to the rover engine though.

Because it's styled more as a tourer (doors, boot, visual presence) and they just don't seem right from a sound point of view if nothing
else.
Just a personal opinion.

I'd go with the Fury (yep , a bit biased ) , mainly because of the easy engine/mechanical access the flip front gives - exactly the reason I
made the same choice
The Stylus is more practical for every-day use - better hood , a usable boot and better doors - but then My Fury is often a year-round car ,
regardless of weather .
Its cuz I is blond , innit

Fury... but then I'm biased.
Find the Stylus too cute and prefer the look of the Fury.
Deciding factor as Claire said is the man-hole bonnet on the Stylus. A lot easier to work on the Fury engine.
K-series shouldn't be a problen if you let it warm up before thrashing it and fit the moded thermostat. Lighter than a cross-flow, but I guess
you're planning a BEC transplant.

Stylus. No contest, although I prefer the Stylus RT.
Ditch the crossflow and bolt on a zetec, job done and luvly jubly.
Does the fury have inboard suspension?
