Built an MK Indy over 3 years. Superb learning experience and one of the most satisfying things I've done - so far.

Drove it for 2.5 years and recently sold it to fund a new project which will either be another 7 or a RWD 205.

If it's a 7 I'll be looking for a part built kit to cash in on someone else's outlay even if i strip it back and start again

Scratch build and just been out in it half an hour ago as the tax runs out in a couple of days. Feels extra special driving in the dark

Built (from a kit)
ETA - not the usual engine choice so there was a reasonable amount of extra work to do as parts were not available off the shelf

Bought (actually bought 2), although I'm enjoying doing the engine change and sorting out some of the other problems the original builder has left, probably learned more about cars in the last 6 weeks than the previous 20 years.

i made a scratch build and got it driving, but scrapped it without SVA as it was miles away from legal spec. Then bought 2 complete ones, both gone now.

Built Sprint Family from kit with little manufacturer help as it was one of the first.

Took a little over 2 years enjoyed the build even the problems great sense of achievement when you overcome them Passed SVA first time now thoroughly enjoying it with wife and kids
