Hi there,
Chris is away on a big boat, playing with airplanes and I've been tasked with getting him some bushes for the locost before he comes back.
He said the website was in his favourites and I'm sure he said it began with M (I really was paying attention when he started talking about that
bl00dy car!).
Trouble is, there are 4 website in his favourites that begin with M! And I can't ask him as he's offshore and only gets a phone signal once
a week (he's too cheap to buy a phone card).
They are:
Merlin Motorsport
M K Engineering
Mac1 Motorsport
Metal Supermarket
It could be any of these! I think they're about £50, don't know if that's each or for both.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dawn
depends on what type of chassis/wishbones he is using, got any pics you could post
Hi,
He bought his chassis of a guy called Kelvin who is on here, the donor car is a MK2 Escort - yikes, there's more to this than meets the eye!
I'm not sure how I upload a picture here, I'll give it a go, it's the only one I could find, so don't laugh, my hubby looks like
an idiot (far off voice >> you mean he's not!)
Thanks
Dawn

He's not really made it easy for you has he?! There arent any wishbones in that picture (at least i cant see any!), so it time for some logic!
wont be the metal supermarket. If he didnt specify a size of bush, that probably means the place only sells one type. Merlin and mac1 cater for
several types, so that seems to point at MK who only do the one type of bush to my knowledge.
Anyone disagree?!
A picture of the wishbones would help confirm this as they should be recognisable if they are MKs own ones. Any chance? Failing that, make him get
them himself!!!!
I like the last option I'm going to admit defeat, this is far too hard. Who knew there were so many different types!
Thanks for your help, he can sort it himself.
Thanks
Dawn
cant say you didnt try
Right, back on dry land now, the bushes I were after are the one's from mk, so will be able to get them next week and hopefully get the car on
it's wheels before I have to go back out to sea in three weeks. What a wonderful job I have!
Cheers for trying to help the missus, did tell her what website to go to, never mind
Chris
