I would have thought that removing the roof would make economy worse not better....
but what do I know about fuel economy!!!

UUUUUUUUUUGLY!!!!!
oh no my milks just curdled!!!
what I ask you is the point of making an eco-friendly car out of a 7??? if you want an aero-dynamic shape don't start off with a shed...
So they've done what exactly? Just how much of a 7 can you replace with CF anyways? Many don't run with screens/roof/doors anyway, so the weight saving (and thus increase in MPG) is likely to be minimal. However, the bit about eco-friendly driving style is the only real gain I can see, and if you want to drive slowly and burn little fuel, why get an open top sports car that excels at going very quickly?! Bloody eco mentalists.
eco-mentals you mean
Nope, I did mean eco-mentalists.

Ah, but that's part of an altered Vampire pic, so doesn't count, as he'd just fly! Me, I quite like burning all the fuel in my car! Oh, and I'm also a naturally pastey white person, so neither helps really!
If you start looking at embodied energy the 7 does quite well with minimal weight of new materials that are likely to have a recycled component (scrap
steel and ally) The main components are also recycled, engine, gearbox and transmission will have come from an end of life vehicle even if it was a
bike/wall interface!
I am sure that good fuel consumption can be achieved by careful set up of the engine for economy rather than power that most of us are after. Overall
I think 7s and particularly locosts are environmentally responsible vehicles even if most of the owner/drivers may not have hat intention!
Caber
YuK, what an ugly car!
So we all think that the cars are heating the earth
You stupid, it's the new believe. And that's the new 21 century tax-income.
So if I pay, my looks of my car don't have to be ugly.
