The only bit that bothered me was the bit under the driver's elbow - the sharp corner. Maybe putting some effort into blending the bit next to the seats up into the back would help a lot.

The back itself didn't look any better or worse than many other offerings out there.

Ouch ...yeh, I would go for the new molds too

Cheers

it just needs the sharpness of the angle
behind the driver head rounding off
where the roll bar base is
der, if that make any sense
stick with it you,ll get there in the end

Always said Joe had an ugly rear end!!!

doughie - 23/3/07 at 09:24 PM

joe, as above and if the rear wings met the edge of the rear pannel at the same height - would smarten the look (but not too bad to start with)

where in the world are you based???

Might make the tank a bit more awkward though. Rescued attachment CCT7-1.jpg

I quite like the rounded version shown by peteff.
Although a bit more graphics training is required

Peteff - 24/3/07 at 08:30 PM

More? I haven't had any. Any way f*ck off, you won't draw me you little gremlin.

P.S. just trying to get into the new spirit of things

That made me chuckle

Actualy I quite like the rounded rear end design, it would be nice to have something to differentiate it from other kits. Just don't go overboard with roundyness at the back or it will end up looking like a Quantum.

You could take the mould straight off a Morris Minor bootlid...

Hmmmm....

Why not have a bolt on upper rear section (chassis wise) then you can keep the existing moulds / design.
Or change it with a small bolt on frame to the rounded boot, or even a Std Locost type rear end. Then have three GRP rear sections available. No-One has done that, plus its not a huge amount of work to do it.

You can please all the people all the time can you. This way you could actually begin to achieve that!

Just my 2d worth.

Why not either copy everyone else and make the top edge curve like the wheel arch or try something radical like a flowing lip like on a fury: Rescued attachment CCT7-1.jpg
