Helmet / vizor

Now that the weather is getting warmer, my crash helmet is getting a bit warm. I've been out in sunglasses, which is fun at town speeds, but on longer faster runs is not quite enough.

I want something with a visor that isn't a full face motorcycle helmet. Does anyone have any ideas? Perhaps there is a mountian bike helmet like this?

As an alternative to a visor I use these goggles. These are the version that fit over glasses, but the seller has various types and styles.

They certainly keep dust and most of the wind out of your eyes.

Why not go for an open face crash helmet with a tilting visor?

actually, something like a welding visor would be good, provided it was see-through. An open faced helmet still has a back, a top and sides and I don't need these to keep the stones out of my face.

Something like the visor from a crash helmet with some way of fixing it to my head would be just the thing.

Pop down to your local casualty department and ask for for surgical screws.

You can bolt it to your head then

Maybe rivnuts would be better.

what about a black bag with some holes cut out?

I was wondering about those maks/goggles that skydivers use - they look light, but should be tough.

Maybe a bit revolutionary but how about fitting a windscreen?

Something like this would probably suit you

Try these.

There what I will be using. A little better the normal sunglasses as they keep the dust out and they look cool
