Well with one day of the Xmas break left i have failed miserably,
It was supposed to be up on its wheels at the end of the break, well on its rear wheels..........
But all I have managed is too fit the engine and make mounts, make jigs for top n bottom wishbones, make top wishbones and modify rear
uprights.........
Cause........ too many parties and buying a Disco, bloody water pumps........
Just got rid of last guests so its feet up and catch up tomorrow........ not.
How have your plans gone ?

I got my car on the way by getting my floor done using my mates air rivet gun,(what a bit of labour saving kit) Thanks Simon, Put the diff in and all
the easy bits of the rear suspension.
Also the rack and steering column. Not a moan or groan from you know who indoors.

I made better progress than I thought 
Fitted exhaust after fabbing some 'origami' bracketry.
Sorted the rad hoses and brake plumbing.
Started on my dash but the big monster looming on the horizon is ...... the wiring loom 
I have turned a pile of steel into the basic Locost tub including fixing obligatory mistakes! I have got to the point where the MC Sorely drawings run
out of dimensions and the book runs out of any detail so I guess it is now thinking time!

Land Rover - New Heated rear window switch, New ignition Switch (cow of a job), Fixed Heater Matrix (whole heater out and back in),
Just the Railko Bearings on the front hub to do for the MoT which is in a weeks time.
Got the Lathe installed and levelled up.
Completely knackered and tired out.

Iv done hardly anything on my list.
Made my fuel tank brackets fitted my rear axle an moved my rear brake pipe as it was too close to the diff.. Bloody snow caused me problems and im
lazy git. Wanted to get my seats chopped and fitted and me scuttle on and battery tray made up and wiring loom in.
Next week. Get my engine back together ready for first fitting next weekend.
Also want to spend today on it but now have to take the wife sale shopping.

Been busy, busy, busy all weekend in the garage. Not building - but emptying it! (It's amazing how much crap you accrue over the years!)
Builders contacted us last week to say they wanted to start building the extension tomorrow, so garage will be demolished first to make way for
foundations etc.
Means I'm gonna lose a few month's build time, but hey, at the end of it I'll end up with a bigger garage with power and light (what
luxury that'll be - no more building outside ) so hopefully, once I get going again, I'll soon catch up.
Luckily, a friendly neighbour a couple of doors up, has very kindly let me store the Avon in her garage for the meantime - so long as she get's
first ride in the passenger seat!
Had a word with the builder out of earshot of SWMBO to make sure he gets the new integral garage finished first before the rest of the extension!

I started to make a plywood windshield, but havnt finished it as of yet. I did however remove a SBC 350 from my neigbors SS Camaro drag racer. i also
was able to finally diagnose what the really loud bang was that he heard on his last few runs. It was the trans smacking itself against the engine as
the bell housing had nearly broke right off (about 1/4 inch of aluminum left before it sheared off completely).
Then saturday night I drank way too much, woke up early on sunday to go to the beach (in 5 degree C) with my motorcycle club and watch the crazy
poilar bear club jump into the freezing cold water on new years day.
