Guinness - 22/8/04 at 07:58 PM

1. Picked up the kit on Saturday (thanks to Phil and Charlie).
2. Saw a new Range Rover rear end a Porsche Cayanne on the A1.
3. Sundays, loads of time to work on the car.

4. GB winning medals at the Olympics

Chris_R - 22/8/04 at 08:45 PM

What sucks: Tail pipe falling of the car.
What rocks: Only having to pay £1 to fix it.

blueshift - 22/8/04 at 10:34 PM

Working in an electonics firm, knowing that the schools go back shortly having given up teaching

Mark

PS. Sorry if there are any teachers on the forum, if there are, they will know what I mean. I used to hate the 'Back to School' logos in shops. Don't mind them so much now

Dick Axtell - 23/8/04 at 05:10 PM

I'm not allowed anything sharp.

marktigere1 - 24/8/04 at 07:54 AM

Hi Dick

Yep, I used to teach Science and IT to ages 12 to 18.

Liked the teaching, hated everything else about the job (irelevant paper pushing etc)

Got a proper job in an electronics firm now

One other thing I love, Trace Elliot guitar amps. Seriously cool!!

Cheers

Mark

And have you hidden my crayons Graceland, or did I eat them again?

Here's a picture of Kelly. She's in "Martial Law" with a fat Chinese bloke called Sammo. Rescued attachment radiantkelly.jpg

David Jenkins - 24/8/04 at 11:24 AM

After the last few days (a long weekend with the missus in Amsterdam), Dutch girls are at the top of my "things I like a lot" list!

In general, they are "women-shaped", very attractive, and they don't seem to be interested in the anorexic look (like David Beckham's missus). Also, very tall!

David

...and no nudge-nudge comments about Amsterdam, please...

Sounds paradoxical to me

marktigere1 - 25/8/04 at 09:23 AM

Last bloke I knew who went to Amsterdam came back with a bucket load of DVD's which you shouldn't put on by mistake when your inlaws are round

Bought them on the market stalls they have there apparently

Cheers

Mark

An old friend used to talk nostalgically of time spent on leave in Amsterdam in his army days.

Years later, his son followed his footsteps and joined the US army. He had a post that allowed him to spend a lot of time in Amsterdam. The big surprise was he married a hooker and brought her home!

Mom was not pleased.

I was going to mention the truly wonderful Kiera - but decided not too.... coz she's mine, mine I tell you... All mine....!

Keep your hands off the future Mrs Proto

(Of course this all depends on a few very minor points like me ever meeting her and her actually being interested and of course the present Mrs Proto permitting it.....)

Peteff - 25/8/04 at 04:59 PM

why don't you spell her name correctly. It's Keira Knightly. See that top middle picture, when I took that she was showing me what she was going to do to me.

skinny - 26/8/04 at 08:24 AM
